All languages are equally (to a zeroth-order of approximation) difficult to learn.

Vocabulary is the biggest obstacle. If you know the words & not the grammar, you have a chance of making yourself understood. If you know the grammar but not the words...

The easiest way to learn any language is through immersion. (...)

An artificial language—such as Esperanto—might manage to be marginally easier.
