Notes about the setting of the Buck Rogers: High Adventure Cliffhangers game:
Keep in mind that the setting for this game is that of the original 1928 Amazing Stories tales & the comic strip that began in 1929. So, this is a pre-WW2 view of the 25th century.
The Mongols & the Orgs
American (& most of the world) has been conquered by Mongol invaders—also called the Han. They have rebuilt some of the cities.
Much of the land between outside the cities has become wild. Those Americans who aren't servants or slaves in Mongol cities live in indepedant Orgs/Orgzones. They try to stay hidden from Mongol raids while hoping to someday repel the invaders.
